Grand Opening Party
Our Grand Opening Weekend went very well October 6-8. We had about 130 to 150 at our neighborhood party Friday and about 60 Saturday for worship. There was a terrific turnout from the neighborhood Friday including representatives from Hazelwood Initiative and Pittsburgh City Council President Doug Shields. Our new workers did a great job. Josh, our DJ did a great job (at least the people under 40 thought so). I learned that "Luda" is particularly popular. The kids were up front dancing. My family was there to help. The weather cooperated. The church people contributed a table of free food to give away. Here are some pics.
